Magic Wand Sprinkler

Chad got me a special leprechaun magic wand sprinkler that waters everything with ginger heart love! Plus, it's awesome because it uses water that comes from our very own magical WELL that we have no idea where it is, or why or how it's working. We just know the water is flowing from somewhere, and for now, that's good enough. 

Groundhog?

I hope whatever comes out of that hole is friendly and stays out of our garden. The dogs won't leave the hole alone.

Propane Stove

...and two new mirrors we picked up at the Eqypt church garage sale down the road from us on Highway 25. Special thanks to a delightful woman named Linda who drove them to the hall for us in her big truck.

Lilacs

The several bushes of lilacs in our yard opened up tremendously. I wish you could smell them up close and personal. Their light purpleness smells beautiful, lush...a deep smooth springy smell.

The water runs!

I spent some time with the Dave the plumber today, who helped us get at least one functional toilet and water running through half of the hall. Yay! Now we can water the yard and garden. No more lugging buckets! 

Next stop: functional hot water heater.

Hail Storm

This little video doesn't do the brief, intense hail storm that hit the grange any justice. I stood under the tin roof of the lean-to for a couple minutes and watched the hail pelt the hill behind our place.
